Loving Autumn

I like Autumn. Of course I'm sad when the summer is over but there is something special about Autumn. Apart from October being my birthday month, I love the fiery reds, coppers, ochre and cinnamon shades of the plants in my garden and the leaves on the trees. The garden wall is aflame with red Boston Ivy. There is a voluptuousness in Autumn's generosity as it fills the hedgerows with berries. Last year, after picking sloes, I was inspired to make this gorgeous little bracelet using some very round dark pearls which really reminded me of the sloe berries.
