A few photos from the first Christmas craft fair of the year that I attended at St William's College in York. I like Autumn. Of course I'm sad when the summer is over but there is something special about Autumn. Apart from October being my birthday month, I love the fiery reds, coppers, ochre and cinnamon shades of the plants in my garden and the leaves on the trees. The garden wall is aflame with red Boston Ivy. There is a voluptuousness in Autumn's generosity as it fills the hedgerows with berries. Last year, after picking sloes, I was inspired to make this gorgeous little bracelet using some very round dark pearls which really reminded me of the sloe berries. Back from a wonderful holiday in the Isles of Scilly, having been reinvigorated and inspired! Just wish it could last a bit longer...! Here's to next year... So excited to be off to the Isles of Scilly again this week. I'm taking some pieces down to the islands to show a few craft shops, including these gorgeous starfish pendants/earrings which have proved popular among Facebook fans and make a great accessory to remind you of your holidays.  While I'm there, I'll also be gathering more inspiration for the new Autumn/Winter season.
