Inspired: Scilly

The New Year got off to a busy start here with preparations being made for my first event of the year with Just Makers at RHS Gardens Harlow Carr in Harrogate. Spring really is a great time of year to visit the gardens when all the Spring bulbs are emerging and the timing couldn't be better with some fantastic exhibitions of work on show from some very talented makers, all very ably overseen by the brilliant Deborah de Brunner. Deborah has been working hard to furnish the Bath House ready for all our work and we're all agreed that it looks fantastic! The first event is now underway and you have until 22nd February to see it. It's entitled 'Let's Get Creative' and, as well as showcasing makers' work, there will a number of kits available for you to purchase and maybe have a go at some crafts yourself! We're going to be busy this season so here's a list of all the Christmas Craft Markets we will be attending this year: Just Makers Christmas Craft Exhibition (7th-23rd November) A two-week event housed in the beautiful Bath House at RHS Harlow Carr in Harrogate. In honour of our garden-themed location, we will be bringing along our fabulous floral rings and some sparkly Christmas tree earrings. As the name suggests, this event plays host to a range of high quality, handmade items from local makers. Support handmade and grab some original gifts for Christmas. Also, don't forget that RHS Harlow Carr are hosting a Free Day Friday on 7th November giving visitors the chance to get in to the gardens for FREE! I'm currently busy preparing for the Just Makers Craft Fair at RHS Harlow Carr which starts this Friday 2nd May and runs until 1st June. It will be the first year I've exhibited my work at this month long fair and I'm really excited to be a part of it.
